Tiger me ambitious
and speckle me with your spots.

Trumpet-lipped, the petals curl,
open, acrobatic, folding back.

Flowers on Blue.
Lapis lazuli, the skin of god,
          blesses pigments like ultramarine,

And my capacity for orange
is three-dimensional –

          corolla, corolla.

The stems so extravagant, thirsty,

Give amplitude to pollen,
the stain my lily blush.
